Q1 2022 Impact
What People Are Saying
“I want to continue to be a better champion for anti-racism in my workplace and my social/personal circles. The language and models that I learned or refreshed today give me necessary tools to dive into those conversations with clarity and direction.”
— ARE Saturday School participant
“I'm happy to be able to support this wonderful organization doing such important, transformational work. Glad I was able to contribute more this year than I had thought I would be able to. Wishing you continued growth in impact in 2022!”
— EEC Donor
“The workshop that the EEC put together and facilitated was very informative and engaging and ensured our needs were met. The students were not just sitting and getting information the whole time, but were active participants. After speaking with them afterward, they said they enjoyed themselves and felt like they left knowing more than they did when they walked in, which was our overall goal. They also felt more comfortable talking about different topics, such as race and intersectionality.”

2021 Impact Report
We are very proud of the work we have been able to do for education equity in our first full year as the Education Equity Center of St. Louis. Our 2021 Impact Report is live! This year we added a section on the State of Education Equity which showcases the need for an education system which works for all our children.
In the words of the now ancestor, bell hooks, “The classroom remains the most radical place of possibility.” We ground our continued work to build the anti-racist education capacity of educators in St. Louis in that possibility.
